The feeling of cognitive dissonance caused by happenings related to one fandom that remind a fan strongly of another fandom, though no reference was intended by the first fandom’s creators. I experienced fandom cross-pollination today when WoW had scheduled maintenance and my first thought was, “Yesterday was Tuesday but today is Tuesday too!”
