Every. Single. Time.
I’m going to make it, I’m going to make it!
…Damn.
I’m going to make it, I’m going to make it!

LMFAO. OH MY GOD. This is the best video of this song I’ve ever seen.
So, I’m quite obsessed with transmogrification. I realized today that all my characters have a unique style when it comes to their transmog outfits.
In this post, I’ll be covering my paladin, Ahuramazda. She’s always got a sort of battle-maiden theme going on.
This is her current set of gear, an amalgamation of T8 and the off-color pieces from Ulduar. I thought they complimented each other pretty well (as I’m sure they’re supposed to). The weapon and shield are still in progress.
This is her ret set. Recolored tier one from Outland dungeons. I want to collect the blue version as well, but it’s an incomplete set. ):
And this is a set I tossed together. I reeeeally wanted to use these pants—they’re so ridiculous! So I found some gloves that go well with them and was thinking of using tier 1 to compliment it but it ended up being too light. So, after a lot of AH-scouring and tweaking, this set was born. Huzzah!
symphony is a stylish guild

Multiculturalism for Steampunk is starting up a weekly art challenge, and it looks promising. SO EXCITED. I’ve had a bunch of ideas for non-Western steampunk outfits floating around in my head, and it’s nice actually having a weekly deadline to motivate me to finish some of them.
This is pretty subtle in its steampunkery (read: no extranneous metal bits), but I was just trying to bring in a few western/Victorian elements to traditional Indian clothing- legomuttoned sleeves, the double breasted, collared choli, and adapting the churidar into buttoned spats.
…Also a sweet hat.
-CDid I mention I love this artist?
This is so incredibly sexy and elegant! <3

I have some issues with steam punk, but how is there not more of this??
Oh my god, this is gooooorgeooooous!
The true identity of Ludwig van Beethoven, long considered Europe’s greatest classical music composer. Said directly, Beethoven was a black man. Specifically, his mother was a Moor, that group of Muslim Northern Africans who conquered parts of Europe—making Spain their capital—for some 800 years.
In order to make such a substantial statement, presentation of verifiable evidence is compulsory. Let’s start with what some of Beethoven’s contemporaries and biographers say about his brown complexion.:
” Frederick Hertz, German anthropologist, used these terms to describe him: “Negroid traits, dark skin, flat, thick nose.”
Emil Ludwig, in his book “Beethoven,” says: “His face reveals no trace of the German. He was so dark that people dubbed him Spagnol [dark-skinned].”
Fanny Giannatasio del Rio, in her book “An Unrequited Love: An Episode in the Life of Beethoven,” wrote “His somewhat flat broad nose and rather wide mouth, his small piercing eyes and swarthy [dark] complexion, pockmarked into the bargain, gave him a strong resemblance to a mulatto.”
C. Czerny stated, “His beard—he had not shaved for several days—made the lower part of his already brown face still darker.”
Following are one word descriptions of Beethoven from various writers: Grillparzer, “dark”; Bettina von Armin, “brown”; Schindler, “red and brown”; Rellstab, “brownish”; Gelinek, “short, dark.”
Newsweek, in its Sept. 23, 1991 issue stated, “Afrocentrism ranges over the whole panorama of human history, coloring in the faces: from Australopithecus to the inventors of mathematics to the great Negro composer Beethoven.”
And yet Western “scholars” want you to believe that Beethoven looked like:
Interesting stuff!

“Blue” - The Seatbelts (Yoko Kanno)
Simple Lyrics….
Never seen a blue sky
Yeah I can feel it reaching out
And moving closer
There’s something about blue
Asked myself what it’s all for
You know the funny thing about it
I couldn’t answer
No I couldn’t answer
Things have turned a deeper shade of blue
And images that might be real
May be illusion
Keep flashing off and on
Free
Wanna be free
Gonna be free
And move among the stars
You know they really aren’t so far
Feels so free
Gotta know free
Please
Don’t wake me from the dream
It’s really everything it seemed
I’m so free
No black and white in the blue
Everything is clearer now
Life is just a dream you know
That’s never ending
I’m ascending

when it’s not okay:
post from someone who just started playing and is excited about the game and wants to talk about how cool everything is and how fun wow is. DON’T RUIN THE EXPERIENCE FOR THEM. we were all new once. let them have their “everything is new and amazing” because you got yours and now it’s their turn.when it’s okay:
post from someone claiming to be an “old school” player and/or an expert on something, then you armory their “main” and they have maybe 2 raid bosses down total across the span of molten core to dragon soul, they’re a rogue reforging to spirit+dodge, and the only achievements the character has are holidays and shit they clearly got on accident. call that motherfucker out, yo.when it’s not okay:
post from someone saying “i want to roll XYZ but i don’t really understand the mechanics of the class. any tips?” remember when you rolled your first whatever and you have no fucking clue how to play and some nice person helped you out? pay that shit forward.when it’s okay:
girl is naked [or basically naked], nothing in the post has ANYTHING to do with the game, still has #WoW and #World of Warcraft tags anyway. if you want to be naked on the internet, go for it, i’m sure someone thinks you are beautiful and wants to see your tits. but unless your tits are covered in orc action figures and horde tattoos, why the dick are you posting your shit in this tag?
